1. What cateasy.in is. cateasy.in is a study-planning and self-logging tool for CAT exam preparation. Based on information you provide about your target exam year, syllabus coverage, and mock performance, it generates a personalized day-by-day study schedule and gives you a dashboard to log your daily study activity against that schedule.
2. Not affiliated with any exam body. cateasy.in is an independently operated tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or in any way officially connected with the Indian Institutes of Management, the CAT exam convening authority, or any other official examination body. References to "CAT" on this site refer to the Common Admission Test as a general, publicly known term, used solely to describe the subject matter this tool helps you prepare for.
3. No outcome guarantee. cateasy.in generates a study plan and provides logging tools based on the information you supply and general patterns in past exam question distribution. We do not guarantee any specific percentile, score, examination result, or admission outcome. Your actual results depend on your own effort, aptitude, consistency, and factors entirely outside this tool's knowledge or control. Nothing on this site should be read as a promise of exam performance.
4. Eligibility and accounts. You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Each account is intended for the personal, individual use of one person preparing for their own exam attempt — accounts may not be shared, resold, or used on behalf of multiple people.
5. Payment and access. Access to the dashboard for a given target exam year is unlocked with a one-time payment, processed through Razorpay. We do not store your card, UPI, or net-banking details — these are handled entirely by Razorpay's own secure payment systems. Once payment is confirmed, access remains active until the exam date associated with that payment. See our Refund Policy for the circumstances under which a refund may be issued.
6. Acceptable use. You agree not to: (a) attempt to access another user's account or data without authorization; (b) attempt to interfere with, disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service or its underlying systems; (c) use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law; or (d) upload or submit content through the service that is abusive, defamatory, or infringes on the rights of others.
7. Your content. Notes, mock scores, and other information you log remain yours. We use this data solely to operate your dashboard and generate your strategy — see our Privacy Policy for full details on data handling.
8. Service availability. We aim to keep the service available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance, updates, or reasons outside our control.
9. Changes to these terms or the service. We may update these terms, or modify, add to, or discontinue features of the service, at any time. Where changes are material, we will make reasonable efforts to notify active users. Continued use of the service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
10. Limitation of liability. The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, cateasy.in and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or exam outcome, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service.
11. Termination. We may suspend or terminate access for any account found to be in violation of these terms, including attempts to circumvent payment or access controls, or to interfere with the service's normal operation.
12. Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
